Desire for Books

My book lust is starting to get the best of me. There are so many books that I really really want, nay, need.

Let’s start with Beasts!, above, by Fantagraphics. Actually, I would love anything by Fantagraphics, they put out nothing but quality. This isn’t the actual cover, but it IS a badass poster by The Little Friends of Printmaking.

Actual book cover is cool, too.

The new Chabon book, The Yiddish Policeman’s Union. Chabon has won a Pulitzer. That means all of his books are going to be great. I can’t wait to get this one. I think I’m even going to get it in hard back, which is so rare for me.

Amazon is also offering a special edition of this book that comes in a silk-screened wooden box. It’s over a hundred dollars. I want it. Amazing jacket illustration by Lone Wolf Black Sheep.

Desert Solitare, or anything, really, by Edward Abbey. I will also take this cute guy in Red Sox hat, as well.
There are a ton more, but these are the ones I want the most right now. I am going to have to figure out how to come up with the $60 or so to buy these books…
