Here’s a picture of the Venetian, or more specifically, the Palazzo, which is the new hotel that I am helping to build. It is owned by the Venetian. This shot was taken at the end of April, I believe, and the construction has progressed a significant amount in the last 30 days. It is scheduled to be complete and open in September.

I’m blogging to report that, for the first time, on Saturday, I was driving through town, and I realized something lovely. For the first time since moving to Vegas, this town is beginning to feel a tiny bit like home! Yay! After months of feeling lost and missing Boston, Vegas is finally beginning to feel familiar to me. It’s a very nice feeling.

Of course, things will change soon as I am move out of the Clark’s house in approximately 5 weeks, but hopefully moving into my own place will make this city feel even more like home.
