Today I read an absolutely fascinating article on Boing Boing. From the article:

What does a family of four in North Carolina eat in a week? How about in Cuernavaca? Or Konstancin-Jeziorna? Several years ago, photographer Peter Menzel and journalist Faith D’Alusio–creators of the fantastic Robo sapiens book–traveled the world documenting what 30 families in 24 countries eat in a week. has posted 16 photos from the book, Hungry Planet. It is well worth your time to check out.
